The Zara logo is linked to an iconic fashion brand, one which had a logo redesign back in 2019. I covered the redesign in a previous video, but today I myself have redesigned the Zara logo not once, but twice! The existing redesign was quite controversial online. The main issue people had was that the logo seemed lazy and broke a lot of rules in terms of typographic kerning. I have however grown to like the logo more than when I first saw it back in 2019. However, I still think there are more efficient and smarter approaches to redesigning the Zara logo. I understand that the existing design is different from most other fashion brands, and that's one of the key takeaways here, it was built to differentiate the brand. I have tried to do the same with my 2 logo redesigns, but with a slightly different mindset and frame of mind. As a logo designer, I do understand the importance of a logo within the brand system, and moreover, the importance of the logo design process. Fiverr is an online market place where you can grab yourself logos really easily, ranging from below 5 dollars and stretching above. So you might think that Fiverr logo design is a way to make money on the platform, well this could be true if you really focused on marketing and competing with a zillion other designers, who are ready to sell their logo designs for insanely low prices. And might I add, premium logos going for less than 20 bucks. This could have easily been a video on how to make money on Fiverr, but I personally think there are far better platforms out there for you and your graphic design skills. There are also plenty of tutorials on how to make money on Fiverr, right there waiting at a click of your mouse. But in all seriousness, this video on Fiverr premium logo designs is a skit, it's meant to be a bit of fun and it was a lot of fun to make actually. What is life without a bit of light hearted banter? I know it is possible to make money on Fiverr and there are plenty of designers who are selling their logos are above one thousand dollars. Everybody as their price and each tier will have clients respectively. I still think that Fiverr is oversaturated though, and unless you live somewhere which the US dollar is far more worth while than your currency, selling logo designs for below 20 bucks isn't a great move imho.
